Lights of Christmas
The PNWC pastoral team marked the beginning of the Christmas season by coming together  for the Lights of Christmas at Warm Beach Camp.  This has become a family tradition for many and a much-anticipated event.  One pastor indicated his children's level of excitement by saying, "You would think it was Christmas Eve."  Warm Beach Church graciously opened their doors and provided a cozy place for the PNWC family to gather for a carol sing led by Cathi Vance.  Children of every age were entertained by His Hands, a puppet ministry from Lakeview FMC, and each family received a hand-made ornament.

The Christmas Train

The mission of the Pacific Northwest Conference is to create an environment that equips and supports the church and its leaders to minister and to multiply.

  PNWC Classes
The conference is providing classes again this winter (beginning in January) in Washington and in Texas for those preparing for ordination, but the classes are open for anyone to audit.  In Seattle we are offering Christian Doctrine (Rev. Ike Timm), History and Polity of the FM Church (Rev. Lucia Delamarter and Rev. Jim Stegman), Homiletics (Rev. David Hicks), and Wesleyan Theology (Rev. Celeste Cranston).  All classes will be held at Seattle First Church.  At Monte Olivo Church in Dallas, History and Polity will be taught by Rev. Bob Green (from McPherson, KS.)  In Houston, Wesleyan Theology  will be taught by Rev. Mike Henry.  For more information about any of these classes, phone our office or email Kathy@pnwc.org.
