Snohomish

The Holy Spirit moved in powerful ways as the Christmas Musical "The Christmas Post" was presented to neighbors, friends and family.  Over 1000 people experienced a little more of the true meaning of Christmas  as a result of  the four performances.  We rejoice in the 20 new believers and the rededications that resulted from this ministry.

Moses Lake
Attendance is up as
several of our regular members have invited  new people.  One family has been picking up and bringing from 6-9 people each week.  Two families have started attending as a result of September 11 and their desire to get back to the Lord.

Sedro Woolley
We have a new name, Northern Peaks Christian Fellowship.  Part of the purpose for this change is to reflect a broader base of ministry than just  Sedro-Woolley.   It is a way to help us think about ministering to the entire Skagit Valley.   We also changed our service schedule to encourage visitors.

Pastors and Spouses Retreat
The  team of church appointed pastors and their spouses gathered again for a retreat at Warm Beach Camp early in  October.  Rev. Dennis and Cheryl Wayman (Santa Barbara FMC) provided practical insights on promoting healthy relationships in the local church.  The team enjoyed the Waymans ministry, "away" time with spouses, fellowship with others on the team, a relaxing afternoon on the campgrounds and a wonderful sunset dinner at Kayak Point Restaurant.

The pastors and spouses who joined us from Texas had time for a ferry ride to Bainbridge Island, a little shopping in a quaint town and dinner at the marina. On the return trip, an incredible full moon hovered over the Seattle skyline, creating a picture perfect evening on the water.

MEG Dinner
On November 9 the Conference had their first annual Ministerial Education and Guidance Board dinner.  This event was for those who are pursuing ordination in PNWC or considering that pursuit.
