RE: Annual Review Input for our Pastor
One of the important responsibilities of our Board is to give an annual review to our church program staff members, including the pastor. This is not designed as a negative and critical process, but one which we hope will encourage and motivate our staff.
We would like to invite input from some of those who work with the staff member being reviewed, in this case, the senior pastor. Since you are a co-worker in his ministry, either as a volunteer, a paid staff member, or a member of the board or committee, I am inviting you to be a part of this process. Your feedback will become part of the input processed by the Personnel Subcommittee and then incorporated into a review for the pastor.
Your comments will be kept confidential. To ensure this, please return the enclosed form in the self-addressed envelope, which has my name on it. It will not be opened by the office e staff, but passed directly on to me.
The input form is simple and unscientific. It should not take a big block of time to respond to it.
Please share your thoughts on the attached form and return it to the church office as soon as possible in the attached envelope.
