Burdened for a nation that is less than 1 percent Christian, Kevin and Natell Austin served an 18-month VISA assignment in Thailand. In May 2003, they were appointed to return as career missionaries. After pastoral and evangelistic service in Rayong, the Austin family moved to Chiang Mai in July 2005. Natelle is teaching full-time at Grace International School, and Kevin is attending language school full-time.

Greg serves as regional director for Eastern Europe. Greg and Brenda's ministries include leadership development within the local Rivne and Kyiv (formerly Kiev) regions and evangelism and compassion ministries, especially relating to orphans and pensioners. One of those compassion ministries is a transition home for orphan graduates The Hendricks served in Ukraine on a two-year VISA assignment prior to becoming career missionaries. Marci is education coordinator for FM work on the continent of Europe. Her responsibilities include helping churches discover and connect with training programs that already exist in their local areas; developing, coordinating and teaching courses where needed; and helping resource and network pastors and leaders across Europe. She works closely with the ordination process for new pastors and helps provide oversight and resources for the two Free Methodist training schools in Europe (in Portugal and France). She provides pastoral oversight for the church plant in Budapest and enjoys having many guests in her home.

Serving in France with Greater Europe Mission since 1998, the Kleins began partnering with FMWM in 2003. Marvin led in the affiliation of the Strasbourg FMC and was involved in the initial planning of the Madrid, Spain, church plant. In 2005 the Kleins came fully under FMWM and moved to the Alsace region of France, where thy work in partnership with theStrasbourg FMC. The Kleins are also involved with other ministries including a group of Haitian Free Methodists near Paris that is in the process of affiliation.

Phyllis and her husband, Jim (who is serving under VISA Ministries), arrived in Nigeria in February 2005. Phyllis works through leadership development and International Child Care Ministries (ICCM) to help make a difference in the lives of Nigerian people. She is financial administrator of Hope Academy, and is working toward improving and enriching the education of not only the FM children, but also of community children attending Hope. Phyllis teaches at the modular Bilbe school, WEST (Wesley Evangelical School of Theology), and supports several Community Health Evangelism projects in the area. The Sortors served nearly six years in Rwanda.

The Stillmans serve as encouragers and helpers to the 20,000 Congolese and 12,000 Burundian FM refugees (located in camps near Kigoma, Tanzania) as well as to the 3,000 members of the Tanzanian FMC. When visiting in camps or Tanzanian villages, they often show the Jesus film in the evenings. Jim is an electrician and fix-it man. Jim likes to help people get reading glasses. Barb facilitates evangelism team travel, seminars on the Christian family and leadership in women's classes.

- new Christians converted from the Muslim fiaht (Youth and even wives are put out of their homes, so Christians must accept them into their homes or these young believers will return to Islam. Considering the poverty of the people, this is a great sacrifice.)
- church buildings (Though there are more than 40 FM church groups in Tanzania, very few have buildings in which to worship.)
- refugees (Burundian refugees are being repatriated to their home country. Pray they will find a place to live and a way to support themselvfes,. The Congolese refugees find it difficult to get permits to travel outside their camps. Pray the Lord will encourage them and that their home country will become stable so they can return.)

Throughout their marriage the Willsons never questioned "if" God wanted them involved in missions, but rather "when" and "where." Both Ryan and Jen have a love for other cultures and have had a variety of short-term ministry ezperiences. In 1997 while in India doing evangelism, god confirmed Ryan's call for cross-cultural service. god confirmed His call for Jen while in Zimbabwe in 1998. Ryan is currently serving as youth pastor at Tonasket FMC, WA. Jen is a teacher. The Willsons anticipate ministry in Malawi which will include encouraging pastors and training pastors and lay leaders.

Don and Kathy have served as short-term missionaries under FMWM since fall 2005 in Thailand; however, overseas ministry is not new to them. They previously ministered in the Philippines for four years. don's current role in Thailand is superintendent at Grace International School in the city of Chiang Mai. Kathy recently started a women's Bible study. They will continue these ministries and provide educational support for all of Asia.

Julie Yerger

At the age of 9, Julie went on her first cross-cultural missions trip to Mexico. Over the next nine years, she participated in five more short-term trips. As Julie grew older, the trips showed her the difference missionaries make where the need is so great. Two more trips, in 2005 to India and 2006 to Rwanda, put Julie's nursing skills to work. During her time in Rwanda, she assisted in the ICU and maternity wards at Kibogora Hospital and god confirmed that He wanted Julie to be a living example of Jesus Christ and meet people's physical needs overseas. Julie's ministry role will include nursing, nursing education and starting a nursery for sick newborns at Kibogora Hospital, a 250-bed facility serving a population of about 160,000 people.
