COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course looks at the origin, development, beliefs, practices & government of the Free Methodist Church. It will address such topics as: What is a FREE Methodist and what sets it apart from other denominations, who is John Wesley and why is he and other early church leaders important to the Free Methodist history, what does MAC, MEG, EPS, SCOD, BOB and other acronyms mean in our church government?

This is a required course in the ordination process. If you are a LMC and have not taken this course, now is a great time! There is no cost for the course but you will be required to purchase the necessary books.

  • Monday, September 18, 2017: Syllabus & Course Work distributed
  • Thursday, October 5, 2017: Pre-session course work completed
  • Saturday, October 7, 2017: On Site (in person) session @ PNWC Office (9am-5pm)
  • Monday, October 23, 2017: Final Course Work completed
